Getting Involved With OTN

There are three really good ways to get involved at OTN.

1.) Volunteer to work on the crew for one of our shows with one of our Producer/Directors or Promotion Assistants. This is a good way to learn the equipment and get familiar with our productions. Email the General Manager at orangetv.syr.edu with your name, contact information and the kind of television experience you're looking for.

2.) Submit a program proposal for consideration and hey, we're flexible here. A "Program Proposal" can mean anything from a 15 second promo to a 60-minute television show to a two-hour documentary and everything in between. You're the producer; dazzle us with your ideas! Click on "Program Proposals" for all the details on how to get started.

3.) Maybe you're already a producer or maybe you've created some fun, cool and creative content in one your classes. No matter how short, weird or incomplete, we'll consider airing almost any short film, video or webisode. Submit it to us and we'll air it right away. Okay, well, maybe not right away. We'd have to screen the video first and make sure it was right for our audience ;)
