Getting Involved With OTN
There are three really good ways to get involved at OTN.
1.) Volunteer to work on the crew for on our shows with one of our Event Producers. This is a good way to learn the equipment and get familiar with our productions. Email the General Manager at orangetv.syr.edu with your name, contact information and the kind of television experience you're looking for.
2.) Submit a program proposal for consideration and hey, we're flexible here. A "Program Proposal" can mean anything from a 15 second promo to a 60-minute television show to a two-hour documentary and everything in between. You're the producer; dazzle us with your ideas! 3.) Become an OTN "Citizen Producer." You give us an idea for a video and we'll give you a camera and editing software, it's that simple. And you'll be able to edit anywhere and anytime from the comfort of your own space. All you'll need is a computer, an internet connection and an internet browser.
