Students ask, “What’s the difference between CitrusTV and OTN?”

Here’s the answer.

CitrusTV is the student-run production studio on campus. CitrusTV has been around for nearly 40 years albeit under some different names: Synapse, UUTV, HillTV and now CitrusTV. The studios are located on the first floor of Watson Hall on Waverly Avenue right next to Bird Library. They produce a lot of television that is seen on OTN. The all-volunteer student executive staff make all production and programming decisions.

OTN is the student cable TV station, we send the signal out to the campus Time Warner cable system. OTN is staffed by an experienced television professional, General Manager Andy Robinson who also happens to be an alum of Synapse. Both organizations offer ways to get involved in different programming genres. The important thing to remember is that OTN and CitrusTV work very closely together to offer you the best stories on this campus.
